Local physicians Dr. Spencer Coleman and Dr. Rocky Lyons, along with Mr. Mike Bruce of Ivy Creek Medical, teamed to develop a “one stop” medical facility serving Wetumpka, AL and rural Elmore County. In addition to their own thriving practices, these Doctors had a vision of bringing specialty medial services to local residents with lease spaces tailored for short term hours allowing specialty physicians from neighboring cities to see patients locally without relocating practices. This approach of bringing specialty services to the patients eliminates the obstacle of traveling for appointments and procedures.

In addition, the facility accommodates: Fast Track / Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Surgical Suites, Occupational Medicine, Pharmacy, Full Time On-Site Specialists (Cardiology, Orthopedic, Neurology, Urology, Gastrointestinal, ENT, Dermatology, Physical Therapy, Vascular Surgery, and General Surgery), X-ray, Lab, EKG, Ultrasound, Stress Test, and CT.

MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA

This 18,000 SF facility houses the practices of four Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons serving the southeast region of the State of Alabama. The facility includes exam rooms, surgery suite and recovery areas supported by administrative / business functions.  Spatial relationships were carefully considered to maximize efficiency and productivity throughout the flow of operations. The sleek use of contemporary materials reflects the client driven image of cutting-edge medical services while simultaneously creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere for patients.

MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA

This 8,000 SF stand-alone Family Medicine facility houses the practice of Dr. Ashley McIntyre along with two nurse practitioners. Sixteen exam rooms line the building’s “spine” in order to create an organized separation of patients and allow efficient and quick processing. The exam wings of the building are connected by the central core containing the nurses’ station, lab, and billing and administration desks. To prepare for the future, the design allows for growth as the team adds an additional practitioner and a physical therapy suite.

The design incorporates modern architectural finishes such as cast stone, composite metal panels, and a manufactured stacked stone veneer so that it complements the new style of the medical facilities in the Baptist East Medical Region.

MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA

In 2010, River Region Cardiology transitioned into their new home, a 14,400 SF hi-tech facility designed to provide individualized care in all aspects of cardiovascular disease. To deliver this care, the facility includes a device clinic, exam rooms, and areas for electrocardiology, cardiac monitoring, Pacemaker evaluation, and cardio-consultations, as well as administrative and conference spaces and a private roof and terrace. The design incorporates metal finishes to give a modern appearance and large windows which allow generous natural light.

In 2017, JMR+H returned to renovate the second floor of the facility, re-purposing space for a new CATH Lab and recovery room. The CATH lab is designed to accommodate a state-of-the-art Optima IGS 320/330 Cardiovascular Imaging System.
